When Dror, the son of Iris and Benny Harari, was in 11th grade, he proposed that his parents open a farm and then proceeded to strongly encourage them to do so.
Noam Farm is now a family operation located near Mitzpe Ramon, 800 meters above sea level.
The farm grows grapes, olives, pomegranates, and deciduous fruits with farm animals roaming the grounds.
The crisp desert air sweetens the produce grown on the farm from which Iris produces jams, spreads, preserves, and other magnificent products. The family enjoys sharing the magic of the desert with visitors, swapping stories of Zionism, and helping the wilderness bloom.
On Noam Farm, 10 dunam of cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot, and cabernet franc grow.
Iris, the farm vintner, produces around 200 bottles annually which are only sold on the farm.
Noam Farm offers guest houses, camping and Khan (hospitality tents). The farm is in the perfect location for excursions to hiking trails, craters, and parks including Makhtesh Ramon, Ramon Nature Reserve, Zin Nature Reserve, and Har HaNegev. The farm also offers seasonal “pick your own” opportunities.
