Shalom Vineyards

Our Story

Shalom Vineyards is a family-owned farm established on the golden sand dunes of Moshav Be’er Milka.

Through the vineyards and the land, Revital and Oren fulfill the vision of pioneering in the Negev. their vineyards (grapes and olives) were planted on arid sand dunes and symbolize for the “honey” of the land. By cultivating them, they continue their family’s heritage.

A visit in Shalom Vineyards place includes wine tastings, cheeses, and agricultural produce grown in our region, accompanied by an in-depth explanation of the vine and vineyard cultivation process, desert settlement, the challenges of farming in the area, and turning the wilderness into a source of life. Of course, visitors can also purchase fine wines, olive oil, and a variety of locally made products.

Additionally, above the vineyards, with a breathtaking view, there is a tourist camping site and a magical venue suitable for all kinds of events.

Our Wine

Shalom vineyards were planted in 2007, and our wine is produced from three varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Petit Verdot.

Planting the vineyard in sandy dunes is a unique project born of knowledge and experience accumulated over the years, combined with a strong desire to make the desert bloom.

Most of the annual cultivation work is done by us, and our vineyards are grown using organic fertilizers and without the use of pesticides.

What to do

In the area, you can enjoy desert attractions such as sandboarding, Easy Rider tours, and dune surfing. You can also hike in the scenic Nitzana Hills.
